new apt
i'm not quite done moving into my new apartment yet, but the sda-related parts are pretty much complete.
here's the "wall of vhs" i've created in my closet (anyone care to estimate how many speed run tapes are up there right now?):
and here's the capture assembly (minus the new pal vcr) mostly set up in its new stand:

Wow, that's a lot of tapes. I'm having a CSI flashback here, when they discover a huge amount of tapes in some guy's home. It's just video games, really!

Let's see... assuming there aren't any tapes hidden behind the door on the right that we can't see at all, there's 9 stacks, and the fourth from the left is about the average size stack, and it has 42 tapes, so that's about 378 tapes.

That's not that many tapes. Well of just video game run I guess it is but it's only a 1/3 of what my aunt has. XD
